Professional Experience

Barnabas Denes advises and represents clients mainly in the fields of general criminal and traffic law (LCR), juvenile criminal law, civil and medical liability, corporate law, and debt collection and bankruptcy law.

He advises and represents clients at all stages of criminal proceedings, including pre-trial detention. In this context, he frequently acts as an on-call lawyer for persons arrested by the police on a warrant or during the commission of a crime.

He represents both accused persons and victims of crimes, whether they are adults or minors.

He is also active in the field of contract law (tenancy law, agency agreements, etc.) and debt collection and bankruptcy law (asset seizure, etc.), representing his clients both in legal proceedings and in out-of-court negotiations.

Born into a family of doctors, he regularly advises in medical liability litigation, particularly in matters of medical malpractice and civil, administrative or criminal proceedings, on behalf of both healthcare providers or patients.

He also assists victims of accidents, particularly road accidents and construction site accidents, in obtaining compensation from private and social insurers.

Before joining Reiser Avocats as a senior associate, Barnabas Denes practised at the Geneva Bar during several years within leading law firms.
