Professional Experience

 

Barnabas Denes advises and represents clients in a variety of fields, including criminal law and white collar crime, civil and medical liability law, general contract law, administrative law, and debt collection and bankruptcy law.

He assists clients at all stages of criminal cases, particularly in matters of white collar crime, and regularly appears before the various courts and prosecuting authorities. His practice encompasses general criminal law as well as juvenile criminal law, assisting both defendants and victims of crimes.

He is also active in the field of general contract law (tenancy law, agency agreements, etc) and debt collection and bankruptcy law (asset seizure, etc), representing his clients in legal proceedings and in out-of-court negotiations.

Coming from a family of doctors, he regularly advises in medical liability litigation, particularly in cases of medical malpractice, and in civil, administrative or criminal proceedings, on behalf of healthcare providers or patients.

He also assists victims of accidents, particularly road accidents and construction site accidents, in obtaining compensation from private and social insurers.

In administrative matters, he represents and advises individuals and companies in their relations and disputes with the State, particularly in matters of authorizations (LTGVEAT, LRDBHD, etc.) and state employment relationships (administrative investigations and sanctions, termination of contract, etc.).

Before joining Reiser Avocats as a senior associate and then partner, Barnabas Denes practiced at the Geneva Bar within leading Geneva law firms.
